Announcement from ISTT : Call for ISTT committee members

Dear Affiliated Societies,

The call for 2024 Committee members is open now.
Please www.istt.com to see the seven committees, their purposes, and their current members.

Last year, the Governance Committee and the Board of Directors approved the "Operating Procedure" (OP) for administrating its committees. Please read this OP before applying.
OPERATING PROCEDURE NO. 10 ISTT STANDING COMMITTEES (PDF)

Here are some of the key items from the OP:
*Committee participation is limited to ISTT members in good standing unless an exception is granted.
*Committee membership terms are three years. The expiration date will be 31 December. Members may serve two consecutive terms (six years).
*Applications are limited to two members per committee per society and a single vote per affiliated society.
Note: The ISTT administration will individually contact members whose term is ending.

Schedule:
Closing date: 27 December 2023
Board of Directors to approve: Early January 2024
Starting date: January 2024

How to submit
1.The applicant should complete the application form by 27 December 2023.
2.An applicant is required to upload a CV and provide relevant experience related to the committee or a "statement of interest" if they have no experience.

Committees form the heart of ISTT. Please consider volunteering to join international colleagues in the important work of promoting and developing trenchless technology.
